For more than 30 years now Jim has brought and shared a unique perspective and attitude to the residential remodeling industry in the greater Kansas City area. He is well known for getting as excited for a client project as the client themselves. Those who know Jim well will tell you that he has an unshakeable love for the design and architecture of Kansas City. He helped make the company what it is today by demanding extreme attention to detail and by striving for excellence in all of our projects. There would be no “that’s good enough” if you worked with or for this company.
But never mind all of that, for to ask him about his favorite project and/or most endearing accomplishment, he will tell you that having his daughter Kylie take over management of the business in 2019 and then the ownership of it in 2021 is his most rewarding and satisfying achievement.
Though Jim is now enjoying retirement these days he still stops in the office to check in on “all things remodeling” and to see how all his former associates are doing. He and his wife Mindy have lived in the Kansas City area since he moved to KC to attend college in 1974. They have one son, Ryan, now deceased, two daughters and five grandchildren, many of whom Jim believes will help continue the traditions of this company for generations to come.
